On the Design tab, Background image section – adding the URL of an image file, either external or from WordPress media library, does not seem to work. The image is not seen in the announcement bar. It is not seen both in preview mode or when the announcement is active.

I just ran into this problem as well, when saving the CSS styles in the ancr block are changed to be:

– prefixed with &#039
– https:// changed to https//
– appended with &#039
