      Hi,

We had a problem with Shortcoder in that when you click on the Shortcoder button while editing a post, the resulting pop-up window is blank and shows an error (DNS). We were told by Pagely that this is a problem with the Plugin Code and that we should report the issue to you to fix in future updates:

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

There is a bug with the Shortcoder plugin. It attempts to include a non-https .js script over an http connection as seen in LINE 28 of this script:

      ./wp-content/plugins/shortcoder/sc-insert.php

      27

      28

So it does the connection over https for the script include, which I now see the dialog box within it tile down & insert into the post when it's clicked.

But this will be changed again when the plugin is updated, so worth reaching out to the plugin developers to fix so it doesn't stop working on next update.

      <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Hope that helps!

      Hi,

      Thanks for reporting the issue.

I’m planning to release the next version of the plugin soon. I’ll include this fix in it.

      Thanks,

      Aakash

As of now if possible, can you please change “http” to “https” in the below file.

      https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/shortcoder/trunk/sc-insert.php#L28

It is the only location where the file is loaded with “http” protocol.
