Hi,

Is Bit.ly integration supposed to work with the retweet service?

On our page, http://wp.settlementatwork.org/_event_/93536, the Tweet button shows the full URL. However, clicking on the Share -> Twitter button in the Addthis box shows a bit.ly URL.

Is it possible to get the bit.ly URLs to work the the Tweet button?

Actually, you are using the default URL as “blah” .

I still dunno, how that “blah” came as the page URL !

How do we get it to show a Bit.ly URL instead? (Actually, we want to use a custom short domain saw.gd instead of bit.ly)

Twitter currently uses its own URL shortener (<a href="http://t.co&#8221; class=”bbcode_url”>http://t.co) for shortening links. So there is no way of using <a href="http://bit.ly&#8221; class=”bbcode_url”>http://bit.ly in the Twitter’s official buttons.
