After months of using a manual setting on my Template 1 for above content share links, I just reconfigured to use the sharethis-hcount tag. (My old code below.)
I switched because no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get the horizontal buttons to align correctly. The Pinterest button overlapped the one to its right (as soon as it had a count added), the facebook button was lower than the others, the spacing was wonky, etc. In the end the Pinterest image was missing and showed a broken image link.
The new sharethis-hcount buttons LOOK good, but they LOST all the past counts. In other words, EVERY post on my site has ZERO shared on every social media site. It is only showing NEW shares since the reinstall. (This has never happened to me before with other sharing plugins. They retain the past information.)
