I am happy to say that the new west version of the Shortcoder plugin is released after a looooong time. It looks really good and works fantastic.

The plugin is recoded from scratch. So old users can see the difference. There is a new UI ( the old UI was not good and made people to be confuse). Also, the shortcode syntax is changed.

You can check out for more info from the following links.

      Download: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/shortcoder.3.0.zip” class=”bbcode_url”>http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/shortcoder.3.0.zip

I’ve made a poll in the Aakash Web fan page regarding the plugin. You check that poll in this page.

      😀 ,

      Hi,

the update is great, but you should warn the old users, that old codes will be deleted, when you update the plugin. The shortcodes are still there, but the HTML information is not stored in the field. I had to reinsert all codes.

And the like/donation buttons should be rearranged to the right, i always accidently hover my mouse over them and then I can’t see what I’m typing.

And I have a question. Do I have to change the old sc-sytax? Or will it be still supported for later updates?

But anyway thank you for the update. It makes this plugin more powerful and easier to use 🙂

Thanks for trying the new version. Unfortunately, the new version needs a good basement. So I decided to remove the old contents. Also, I forgot to make a notice.

In the next version, Ill move the donate icons to the right (you can close them by clicking the x button)

You don’t need to change the old syntax, leave it as it is. Shortcoder will recognize them automatically. The new shortcode is future proof, I assure that it wont be changed in the later versions.

Just enter the content which was emptied (I am sorry for that work)

      Thank you.

is there any way of recovering the old shortcode data? I also didnt realise the automatic upgrade would remove my existing shortcodes.

I didn’t have any idea of backing up the old data. I want to make sure that the Shortcoder should be new.

The old data cannot be recovered. I think it can be entered easily as it is available in the Internet.

      Thank you.

Although I love Shortcoder, with my recent update I am now no longer allowed to edit my shortcodes.

      <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/47njyngwo9mnwlc/screenshot-lifesabitofeverything.com%202016-06-30%2000-24-19.png?dl=0″ class=”bbcode_url”>https://www.dropbox.com/s/47njyngwo9mnwlc/screenshot-lifesabitofeverything.com%202016-06-30%2000-24-19.png?dl=0

Is there a step-by-step or clear way of fixing this, I am not that Code experienced to code it myself, and I am a bit blonde.

      Thank you,

      TIffany
