I created a custom button template for AddThis email button. Here is my code:

      Code:

But {url} and {title} both convert spaces to “%20”. Is it a known issue, and is it resolved in the new version?

Its not a issue. It will look decoded in the source but it will work fine.

But I do get %20 in title and it is looking weird. Here is the blog:

You can try “Email” button on the top of every post, and you will receive emails which subjects are something like “The%20fourth%20Post”. What can I do?

Besides, wp socializer allows me to use an AddThis username if any, but it seems AddThis new accounts do not have any account name anymore. They are always using emails as accounts now, and wp socializer seems not working when I provide email as AddThis username. Any advice?

      Thanks in advance!

Yes, recently addthis uses email ids as logins instead of username. In this case, you need to use your pubid as your username. You can get your username in this page

      https://www.addthis.com/get-addthis

On the right side you see the line http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js#pubid=YOUR PUBID/USERNAME (in the code box)

You can now use this as your username (pubid)

In the next version, the username will be changed to pubid.

I have updated WP-socializer to the latest version (2.0) and I put AddThis pubid at “Add This Username” field. Please check the screenshot below. But I still can’t see any data coming when I login AddThis. How does it work?

Did you get the pubid after logging in to Addthis ?

Yes, I got the pubid after logging in to Addthis. I checked my AddThis console again and I can see some data now. It seems working sometimes. I will try more. 😀
