My guess is that, the scripts which are needed to display the embed are not loaded.

Shortcoder does not know anything about the code inserted by the user.

I would suggest, paste the tiktok embed code direclty on the post and see if it works. If it does not work directly, then it will not work with shortcoder too.

May be some other plugin got updated which stopped inserting tiktok embed script.

In previous case, there was a problematic plugin which caused the failure. Disabling that solved the problem. You can also try disabling odd plugins one by one to find out the root cause.

GIW uses parsedown extra extension.

To add id and class attribute, you need to use {#myid} for id and {.my class} at the end of the sentence.

Yes you can add multiple messages with horizontal ticker manually.

All you need to do is, type your messages in one line. Separate the messages with a big space or hyphen ( or custom image). This way you can have multiple messages.

The dedicated multiple messages button is for the slider.

When you say HTML block I’m not sure which one in specific. Please share screenshot if possible.

I would suggest using the “shortcode” block instead.

Note: If any other shortcode can work, then the shortcode from SRR plugin will also work. Please try if other shortcodes are also working in whichever place you are trying to display the reader. Feel free to share more details for quick resolution.

Regarding the “access denied” error. I’m not sure if that is related to SRR plugin.

Yes, you can insert the shortcode anywhere i.e the area should “execute” shortcodes. HTML blocks execute shortcodes so you can paste the shortcode there.

If you see the shortcode text as is then it means the shortcode is not executed.

Hi Spiros,

CURL error 28 is a generic connectiviy issue between your server and the external URL ( RSS feed in this case).

Can you please follow the article below and see if it helps in anyway?

The plugin had no recent update, so if it was working earlier it should work now too once the server communication issues are fixed.
