Hi,
I see the error now. As mentioned previously Google reports error 503 which means “server error” on the Google news side.
Or Google is blocking the requests coming from your website. Google can do it it thinks many RSS requests are coming from your site or if there is any abuse.
All other RSS feed works fine.
I’ll check what can be done here.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Mandeep,
I just logged in to your site. I noticed that “Debugging mode” was turned on in Super RSS Reader – PRO settings page.
I disabled that now and see the page is loading and RSS feed is displayed as expected.
Please check if the issue is resolved. I wouldn’t be able to join for a call until 11PM IST. We can communicate over email if that is comfortable for you.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Mandeep,
I did not do anything but the RSS Reader was already working without any issues.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Mandeep,
I tried the same URL but do not see any issue. Please see the image below.
Error 503 means service is unavailable. May be the RSS feed server was not available when you tried. If issue persists, please give another RSS feed URL a try too.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Mandeep,
I’m checking this issue.

AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Kiefer,
Thanks for checking Announcer plugin. Unfortunately, there is no integration or dynamic change of content. However, every announcement is just like a post. So if you are comfortable with PHP then you can modify the announcement content using WordPress APIs. But there is no plan to support this out of the box.
Announcer plugin works well with static announcement messages by default.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Kiefer,
Thanks for trying Announcer plugin.
Yes it is possible to show the announcement bar on specific page as needed. Can you please navigate to announcement settings -> “Location rules” -> “Show in selected pages” and add the rules?
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Mandeep,
Yes, the feature has been added to the latest version. You can upgrade to SRR v5 and uninstall the “MOD” plugin. You can also find the email I sent to you regarding this when the release was published.
Thanks,

Aakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Joit,
Thanks for the code. The reason the post has an URL is for the preview. In this case I need to ensure that preview is availble only for admins and not the public. I’m targetting a fix for WordPress 6.3. I’ll include this in that release.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Joit,
Thanks for using Shortcoder plugin. Glad that you liked it.
I understand the issue. The link is made available by WordPress for preview purposes. But seems it is accessible by public too.
I’ll see what can be done here to avoid this issue.
Thanks,
AakashAakash ChakravarthyKeymasterOk. Let me see what I can do to help you here. I’ll update in a couple of days. Please bump if there is no reponse.
Aakash ChakravarthyKeymasterHi Richard,
Sorry for the delay. Somehow missed this since this was replied as a part of another topic.
I tried your RSS feed and I see that the RSS feed source is prohibiting the images from being displayed on another site. We can see error 403 (which is prohibited).
If you are not owner then I’m not sure if there is any hack to overcome this since this is beyond the plugin’s scope. I’ll see if I can come up with something.
If you are the owner of the website can you please check if there are any misconfiguration/restrictions?
Thanks,

Sure I can help. Can you please share your website URL? I would like to inspect the site live and understand the CSS.
Thanks,
